Sue Sareen paints across a wide variety of subject matter, but has a particular affinity with cats. She enjoys their independence, their sinuous grace and sensuality. Always in her paintings there is a strong sense of intimacy with the subject matter.
Sue Sareen originally studied at Leeds Art College. She later gained an MA in fine art at Nottingham Trent University. Her paintings and prints have been reproduced by many art publishers. She exhibits widely and has won several awards for her work. Prints can be bought from her web site.
Sue has published a book on watercolour painting, produced two videos and frequently writes articles for the “Leisure Painter,” and the “Artist” magazines.
