The Society of Feline Artists Exhibitions

Exhibitions And Events

The Annual London Exhibition

The Society of Feline Artists was founded in 1994 and held their very first exhibition at Llewellyn Alexander in 1995. Since then the Society has gone from strength to strength and has held its main exhibition every year at Llewellyn Alexander.

Sadly the 2017 show was the last S.O.F.A. exhibition at Llewellyn Alexander. The gallery closed in February 2018. We have had many happy years with Llewellyn Alexander and we wish them many years of happiness in their retirement.

We are currently looking for a new home for the S.O.F.A. London Exhibition.

The Exhibition Fund

Why are we fundraising?
Our wonderful gallery, the Llewellyn Alexander, closed this year when the owners took their well earned retirement. So for the first time in 22 years we haven’t had our annual London show. We love having the work of our members up on the walls with a gallery full of cat lovers come to enjoy the show. So we are raising funds to help us host our own London show next year, in the autumn of 2019.

Regional Shows
But it’s not just our annual London show we’re raising funds for. We are also planning other regional shows in the future, as well as online shows in our new gallery. The online gallery allows members from all over the UK as well as our international members to take part in a S.O.F.A. show.

So we have started an exhibition fund and are looking at different ways to raise the funds we need to host our own shows.  We ran a crowdfunding campaign to start the exhibition fund off, thank you to all those who donated. We had our first online show this summer and it was very successful. A percentage of the sales from the show go to the exhibition fund. Now in the run up to Christmas we’ll have some lovely feline fine art donated by our members available in our shop. All of these are selling for less than their normal price, so you get a bargain, and all the proceeds go to the exhibition fund.

Or you can simply  through paypal.
