The Society’s AGM was held on the 16th of September at Doggetts Coat And Badge. It’s such a spectacular venue with it’s wonderful views of the River Thames and they do a wonderful lunch too. 🙂
At the AGM the officers gave their reports and Lois Sykes gave us an overview of an upcoming exhibition opportunity for S.O.F.A. members with International Cat Care, to help them celebrate their Diamond anniversary. Details of the exhibition will be going out to members soon.
Sadly there isn’t a Stephanie Kay Manchipp Memorial Award this year. The award is presented in honour of Stephanie Manchipp, who was passionate about encouraging new members to become full members of the society. In her memory, the society awards a prize for the most outstanding work by a new member. There was not enough work by new members to make the award this year.
Tea, coffee and cakes were served and we were able to enjoy the fabulous views on the terrace.
