We are delighted to announce that Third Place in Best In Show goes to Madeline Downham S.O.F.A. for her stunning, exuberant mixed-media painting ‘Leap Into Spring’!
This piece features an “exuberant smiling cat, leaping happily into Spring life,” with “A House Sparrow… seen escaping the blissful cat’s grasp.”
The rich color palette of pale gold, cream, and dark blue combined with oil paint and mixed media makes this painting truly shine! It’s a joyful celebration of movement and spring.
