Made using a time-honored artistic process. Alex Johnson S.O.F.A. created this striking, hand-printed linocut using the reduction method, a technique where a single sheet of Lino is progressively carved away for each layer of colour. This labour-intensive process makes each print truly unique. The subject is Toffee, a beautiful Tortoiseshell Maine Coon, whose luxurious, silky fur is perfectly captured as it catches the light. The print captures her in a moment of peaceful observation as she watches the world go by.
